The Days Before Christmas

It’s hard to believe that days from now it will once again be Christmas.  A cd that I found this year is called, “Christmas in the Cloister; Gregorian Chants and Christmas Carols.”  One particularly moving piece is their rendition of Silent Night. To hear a clip, click here. It’s an excellent way to slow down, and enjoy the sounds of Christmas.

Now more than at any other time we need to insulate ourselves from the constant pressure from advertisers and media, telling us what to buy and how much to spend at Christmas. We need reminders that the Peace of the Christ Child and His Light make this all possible.

So as it states in John 1:1-5 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being.  What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people.  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.”  May the Light continue to shine for you, your family and your loved ones.

Is there a way on this blog site to sign up to receive an email when a new post is put up? I’d love to do that, but can’t seem to find the button.

    Peace & Blessings!
